What is genmaicha tea
Genmaicha is a type of tea which is very popular in Japan, made by combining Sencha green tea with toasted rice. The term genmaicha collectively means "brown rice tea." It is also called bancha tea, which is not to be confused with what has come to be referred to as "bancha" in the West. As defined by Japanese law, genmaicha contains no less than 30% of rice.

At that time, one of his retainers named Sen no Rikkyu was very fond of Genmai cha which means "tea with grains" or "brown rice tea."
How to make genmaicha tea?
It's very easy to make genmaicha tea, just follow the steps below,
Step 1. Scoop 1 spoon of Genmaicha green tea ( 1 serving) into a cup.
Step 2. Pour hot water (160 degree Fahrenheit or 70 degree Celsius).
Step 3. Wait for 30 seconds to 1 minute for the color of green tea to change, it should turn brownish after steeping time is up.
