How to Make Nanjing Yuhua Tea
Step 1. Scoop 3~5g Nanjing Yuhua tea leaves for every 200ml (7oz) water and slowly slide into the glass cup (or Gaiwan). The ratio between tea and water is about 1: 40~50.
Step 2. The water temperature for brewing green tea should be around 80~85º C (176~185℉).
Step 3. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves, and wait for about 1~2 minutes then serve as 1st infusion. The best practice is to use a glass cup or Gai Wan. Smell the aroma before drinking the soup.
Step 4. Leave 1/3 soup and pour water again, Steep 3~4 minutes for 3~4th infusion.
